Includes one round of follow-up edits.
- Handoff Binder: Seller EditionOur 15-tab workbook (Excel and Google Sheets) and 27-page printable binder: key contacts, suppliers, recurring tasks, a 90-day handover plan, a Buyer Document Checklist, a Transition Schedule and an Owner-Dependence Self-Check. Sold separately for C$18.
- Buyer Questions Prep SheetThe questions buyers most often ask in a first conversation, with space to write your answers, so you feel calm and ready when the phone rings.
- 30-day check-inA month after your review, we look at how your listing is doing (views and messages) and suggest one or two improvements.
How it works
- Pay securely by card. In the box provided, tell us your listing title or the email you listed with.
- Within one business day of payment, we email you the Seller Edition binder, the Buyer Questions Prep Sheet and a few short questions about your business.
- Within 3 business days of your answers, you get your written Listing Polish Review.
- You decide what to use. We only update your listing when you tell us to.
- About 30 days later, we check in with one or two suggestions.
What the pack is not
It isn't a valuation or price opinion, and it isn't legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. We're not a broker, so we don't contact buyers or negotiate for you. We can't promise a sale or a price.
Questions
Do I have to buy this to list my business?
No. Listing on Heritage Handshake is free, with no commission. The pack is an optional extra for owners who'd like a hand.
Will you tell me what my business is worth?
No. We don't give valuations or price opinions. For a value, please speak with a qualified business valuator or your accountant. Our free worth worksheet gives a rough range only.
Is this legal or tax advice?
No. The pack helps you organize and present your business clearly. For your agreement, taxes and anything legal, please use your own lawyer and accountant.
Will you contact buyers or negotiate for me?
No. We're not a broker. You stay in charge of every conversation and decision.
Do you change my listing without asking?
Never. We send you suggested wording. Nothing changes on your listing until you say yes.
What if I change my mind?
If you ask before we send your Listing Polish Review, we'll refund you in full. Just reply to your receipt email, or write to us.
Can you guarantee a sale?
No one honestly can. The pack helps your listing be clear and complete, which helps serious buyers decide to get in touch.
